XT4 is a highly productive two-column band saw that meets a variety of cutting requirements and combines advanced technology with an extremely solid mechanical structure. There is a system that allows the vices to retract to prevent the saw blade from rubbing against the cutting surface during the ascent of the saw frame for the following cut.
The added benefit of this construction is the use of high performance TCT band saw blades. Hydraulic pressure of the ground TCT knife guides for maximum precision and perpendicularity of the cut.
All operating functions of the machine, errors and error messages are clearly displayed.
A device for checking the accuracy / perpendicularity of the cut with automatic adjustment or stopping the saw frame lowering speed in case of blade deviation.

By default, the XTECH saws have the option of detaching the material during the ascent of the saw blade. The operator can choose between the following options: disconnect only from the front, only from the back or both. This function is suitable for bundle cutting and is indispensable when using carbide blades. Cutting performance at 90 °: round and square 360 mm.
Suitable for cutting steel, cast iron, high-strength steels, alloys.
OPTIONS:
With the option "Short Batch & One Off Sawing" it is possible to not completely cut the material section in the automatic cycle.
Auto Crop Option: If the material has an adjustable pre-sawn surface, it will be accurately and automatically positioned relative to the zero position of the knife. This feature saves time and saves waste of material.
MINIMUM LUBRICATION SYSTEM
It is possible to require a minimum lubrication system for all Imet machines, which avoids the usual distribution of refrigerant liquid when using emulsifiable oil and does not affect the life of the blade in any way.
BUNDLE CUTTING
On the sawing line XTech it is possible to make the hydraulic device for the bundle cutting, which consists of two vertical cylinders which allows to make cuts up to a minimum diameter of 20 mm. Download the brochure to view the saw cutting capabilities.
