WHY THE PRIAM

The Priam is a vertical, electronically controlled glass drilling machine that does most of the work for the operator. The entire feed is electronically controlled — drilling is smooth and repeatable.
The operator's role is minimal. After mounting the hole saws, they press the "Calibration" button — the machine measures the length of both drills (front and rear) and their diameter, then automatically assigns the correct spindle speed. After every drill change, the machine will not start drilling until calibration is done — setup errors are impossible. The hole position on the vertical axis is entered on the monitor and the support bar travels there automatically (up to 1,060 mm below the spindle axis); horizontally, the glass is positioned against 6 stops.
The machine does the rest: the pneumatic clamp measures the glass thickness, the rear spindle pre-drills to a depth calculated by the controller, and the front spindle completes the hole from the other side — chip-free, clean edges at the first attempt. Optional: double-sided chamfering (hole saw with chamfering ring), tapered holes, and pulse drilling mode for laminated (VSG) glass.
BUILT FOR SERIAL PRODUCTION
Up to 20 holes on the vertical axis can be programmed — the operator enters the dimensions once and the machine drills them automatically. In serial production (shower enclosures, balustrades) the following panes are drilled without re-entering positions.
