The machine was in use at our facility until recently. Currently, the control system does not start, meaning the machine is not operational at this time.
We have not investigated the cause of this issue further. Therefore, no statement can be made as to whether the cause lies in the control system itself, the power supply, or another machine component.
The following defects were already known prior to the current failure:
Gear shifting not functioning. The machine was permanently in gear 2, with a speed range up to approximately 3,200 rpm.
Driven tools not functioning.
Tailstock operation is performed via an added toggle switch.
The turret moves or shifts only in slow motion.
The ball screw of the X-axis causes running noises.
The running noises of the ball screw of the X-axis have been present since we purchased the machine in 2021. Despite these running noises, the machine was able to reliably produce H7 fits until the current failure.
The causes of the aforementioned defects, as well as the current failure, have not been fully investigated.
The machine is therefore explicitly sold as defective, non-operational, and in need of repair, and is suitable, for example, for repair, as a source of spare parts, or for reconstruction.
Inspection is possible by appointment.
