Automatic cleaning
The electromagnetic overbelt magnet with automatic cleaning is installed above the conveyor belt and enables quick and easy separation of magnetic particles from the conveyed material. This separator is primarily used in applications with a high occurrence of ferromagnetic particles, where separation with manual cleaning would not be suitable due to the high level of contamination. Compared to permanent overband magnetic separators, the magnetic field of electromagnetic plates is much stronger and deeper. Electromagnetic magnetic separators are ideal for collecting parts with difficult shapes (such as screws, nuts, balls, etc.) and heavier iron parts.
The extremely strong electromagnetic field also ensures the separation of ferromagnetic particles that are located under a higher layer of the flow. The electromagnet is also an exclusive solution for applications where it is necessary to deactivate the magnetic field for operational or maintenance reasons (which is not possible with the permanent magnet).
