Description
WSM Stationary Screw Unit, Assembly Station
Assembly of components for car radios and navigation systems, as well as testing of these components.
The assembly station is surrounded by a protective enclosure.
The service doors are equipped with monitoring switches with interlocking (locking).
The doors are locked in automatic mode and can only be opened when the automatic mode is stopped or in manual mode after pressing the "Doors" button on the control panel. The automatic mode cannot be started when a door is open.
Functional Sequence
The station is loaded with the pre-assembled unit via the conveyor belt.
The following describes the work steps of the automatic station with a process flow for a WT (test object).
In normal operation, all 3 stations work in parallel.
- Positioning the WT with the pre-assembled unit in Station 2.1
- Lowering the carrier with the scanner and vision sensor
- Scanning the 3 codes (front panel, front PCB, SD PCB), comparison with the database
- Checking the correct locking of the FFC in the connector
- Raising the carrier and lowering the WT onto the belt
- Positioning the WT with the pre-assembled unit in Station 2.2
- Positioning the screwdriver and screwing in the front PCB
Dedpfx Apeibiche Dswc
- Lowering the WT onto the belt
- Positioning the WT with the pre-assembled unit in Station 2.3
- Lowering the light shield and making contact, moving the carrier with the test sensors from below
- Type-dependent testing of the lighting of the SD + CD slots and buttons
- Functional test of the CD eject button
- Lowering the WT onto the belt > continue
If errors occur during the test, they are displayed on the display and can be corrected if possible.
To do this, switch to manual mode and open the doors. After the repair and starting the automatic mode, the WT is tested again in the station.
If no repair is possible (e.g., screwing error), the WT is marked as NIO (Not In Order) in the control system and is no longer processed.
Manual NIO marking and removal are also possible.
