The abrasive is loaded via a pneumatically operated rubber membrane - eliminating the need for inefficient screw connections - which makes the SBM series blasting units safer and easier to operate. The blasting device is also equipped with a large inspection valve that allows for quick tank emptying and the possibility of internal inspection. The SBM series blasting machines allow simultaneous operation with one or two working nozzles (depending on the model). The control of the blasting device (in pneumatic or electric versions) is intuitive and precise, making it efficient, as the control handle is located at the end of the working line. The undeniable advantage of this solution is that the operator performing the cleaning can interrupt the operation of the machine directly, as required by the latest health and safety regulations (solution available as an additional option). The tank of the SBM blasting unit has been designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU, based on and under the supervision of a design approved by a notified body, and is CE-marked.
