The entire feed is electronically controlled — drilling is smooth and repeatable. The operator's role is minimal. After mounting the hole saws, they press the "Calibration" button — the machine measures the length of both drills (front and rear) and their diameter, then automatically assigns the correct spindle speed. After every drill change, the machine will not start drilling until calibration is done — setup errors are impossible. The hole position on the vertical axis is entered on the monitor and the support bar travels there automatically (up to 1,060 mm below the spindle axis); horizontally, the glass is positioned against 6 stops.
