The main operation begins by applying a paper label onto reel-fed, heat-sealed aluminum foil. Subsequently, wrapping shells for rectangular bricks are formed, which are then filled with processed cheese at the machine's dosing station. A heat-sealed aluminum foil lid is placed inside the filled briquette shell, which is then folded over the lid and sealed using heated pressure pads. Each briquette may include an internal easy-open tear strip, which is applied before the paper label when the ARU is equipped with the ARU-10 module.
The optional ARU-10 tear strip applicator can be fitted to both new and used Fasa ARU machines, as well as serve as an auxiliary for processed cheese wrapping machines from other manufacturers. The integration of the easy-open tear strip is the initial step in briquette formation, achieved by cutting OPP/OPP foil from two reels and heat-sealing formed strips onto the aluminum foil, providing a user-friendly opening solution.
All external panels and product-contact surfaces of the modernized ARU meet applicable EU safety, hygiene, and food safety standards. Electrical and electronic components are sourced from industry leaders such as Siemens, Omron, Festo, General Electric, Bonfiglioli, Rittal, and others; pneumatic components are exclusively supplied by Festo. Output control is stepless, regulated by a frequency converter. Packaging material in-feed is fully automatic, with the machine stopping if the material runs out or if feeding is interrupted. The machine comes standard with a mechanical data embossing device (PRINT-JET is optional).
