The equipment is a hand-operated, fork-lift stacking crane, the purpose of which is to service the STAK system warehouse storage rack. The nominal load capacity of the crane is 1000 kg. On the stand, the loads are stored on removable steel sheet pallets (pallets) with a permissible load capacity of 1,000 kg each. The load is lifted with the crane together with the pallet or is placed. The design of the rack structure allows the pallets to be arranged as needed with a height division of 98 mm. The crane moves in the area between the rows of racks installed on both sides, and even has a run-out section at one end of the track for loading onto a forklift. A pair of rigid, U-section columns from the crane below the crane, which ensures the vertical guidance of the fork structure. The guide column is connected to the trolley with a ball ring, and this enables the load to be rotated completely. The lifting is done by an electric chain lifting drum, which is located on top of the rotor. The trolley rolls freely between the crane's two I-section main supports. In the longitudinal direction, the structure rolls freely on two rails placed on top of the rack rows. On the runway section, the track cantilever extends beyond the row of scaffolding. There are handles on the back side of the column, which are used to move the structure longitudinally and transversely and rotate it. The control box that operates the hoist is also located here.
Security solutions:
- the running of the crane from the track is prevented by stops - in the end position, the lifting movement is stopped by an electric switch
- the control box is equipped with a key switch - the main circuit is locked by a safety magnetic switch
