Rombach Sägewerk

Rombach Sägewerk GmbH in Oppenau processes round timber into sawn timber and primarily produces wood for its own solid wood house manufacturing line NUR-HOLZ, as well as for laminated beams and the packaging industry. The product range includes not only sawn timber, but also pallet and packaging wood, along with by-products such as wood chips and sawdust. The company mainly sources spruce and fir, as well as Douglas fir and pine, from sustainable forestry in the region. The sawmill was taken over on 01/01/2022; since then, operations have continued as part of the corporate group.
