Used Hosokawa Alpine AFG-R 200 fluidised bed classifier jet mill system. The AFG-R is a special variant of the standard AFG where one nozzle is placed vertically pointing upwards on the bottom of the grinding chamber to elevate all the material in the fluidised bed to the jets meeting point, specially interesting for heavy and difficult to grind materials.
This machine is specially suitable for the ultrafine grinding of different products with a sharp top cut. This pulveriser allows the fine comminution of products in the bottom chamber of the machine. Thanks to the different nozzles, the pressurized air reduces the product size to the desired one. The top part is fitted with an air classifier wheel that ensure the required top cut of the end product. This results on a narrow particle size distribution (PSD). Different settings allow to adjust the fine product on the go.
This micronizer is suitable to process many different products for all kind of industries, like pharma and food products, soft minerals, chemicals, etc.
