Machine characteristics The horizontal metal band saw with swivel arm enables cutting in a plane perpendicular to the axis of the material being cut and at any angle within the range from 0 to 60°. The material to be cut can be fed manually or by any mechanical device, while the tool feed is automatic. The blade guides are equipped with special carbide plates and bearings. This has a major impact on blade guidance, service life, straightness, accuracy and cutting quality. Carbide guidance greatly reduces wear of the machine and blade. The machine is equipped with an efficient coolant pump with a closed coolant circuit. The saw arm is made of a single cast-iron casting and, together with the 27 mm wide cutting blade used in this saw, fully enables multi-series cutting of both profiles and solid materials.
