The line can be inspected in Stavenhagen, Germany. The installation is still fully operational and connected to power, making live demonstrations possible.
The line is complete and starts with the storage of potato flakes. These are subsequently mixed in the correct ratio. The system can also process other raw materials, such as bread dough or alternative ingredients – for which an additional big bag station is available.
After mixing, the product is weighed and further blended before being conveyed to the Rheon forming machines.
The Rheon machines form the product; if desired, an internal filling can also be applied. The product is then transferred to the breading drum and subsequently to the spiral freezer, where the exterior is hardened to guarantee good packability.
After freezing, the product is weighed by a multihead weigher and packed in doypack pouches.
It then passes through the pasteurization tunnel, ensuring a longer shelf life. The packaging is subsequently dried with an air blower.
Finally, a weight and metal detection check is carried out before the products are automatically packed into cartons via a repacking machine. The boxes are then automatically palletized, after which the products are ready for transport.
