The machine has been used in our own workshop primarily for grinding machine tool beds and guideways, especially POREBA lathe beds during complete overhauls carried out by METALEX. With this machine design, the workpiece remains stationary during the grinding process, while the grinding unit travels longitudinally along the machine. This makes the machine particularly suitable for machining very long and heavy components without having to move the workpiece during grinding.
