Horizontal band saw with a swivelling arm for cutting metals, allows for cutting in plane perpendicular to the axis of material cut and at any angle from 0 to 60º. Material for cutting can be fed manually or with any mechanical feeding device, with automatic tool feed. Band guides are equipped with dedicated carbide plates and bearings. This has a huge impact on band guiding, its durability, cut straightness, cutting accuracy and quality. Carbide guiding drastically reduces the wear of the machine and blades. Machine's arm made of uniform cast iron as well as a 27 mm wide cutting band are capable of low and high quantity cutting of profiles and other materials. The vice is located in an adjustable bed, equipped with a quick clamp. Blade guides have cemented carbide plates and roller bearings. The guarding system allows full access to the machine and easy maintenance. An innovative and user-friendly 7" touchscreen with an intuitive interface enables full control of all machine settings. It allows programming of up to 99 cutting programs and 10 different cutting lengths on the same bar. The CNC control provides access to all machine operating functions: automatic calculation of blade thickness, number of stroke repetitions, band speed, and blade lowering speed. The interface also allows monitoring of the CUBO operating status and diagnosing irregularities thanks to a self-diagnostic function. An integrated feeder enables automatic repetition of the cutting process. The feeder moves along a hardened and chrome-plated guide; high positioning accuracy is ensured by precise feeding via a ball screw with a self-braking motor, mounted on a floating plate to absorb loads caused by irregular bars. The saw body has a rigid cast iron structure made of square-section tubes, ensuring high resistance to deformation and better performance with all types of materials. The bow is equipped with a worm screw and a crown gear made of a highly resistant bronze alloy. A mechanical material detection device ensures rapid approach of the blade to the material by automatically detecting the first cutting point.
