The solid PUR adhesive, wrapped in aluminum foil, is placed into the tank. The adhesive is gently melted as needed. A glue reservoir is located beneath the tank, holding up to 0.7 kg of liquid adhesive. From there, the adhesive is conveyed via a gear pump, through a FE-MA-TECH® hot-melt hose and heated application head (valve) into the application units (IMA, Homag, etc.).
